“Leadership and sales go hand in hand - one without the other is incomplete.”

Everyone has asked why I combined the Sales from Selling In A Skirt with the Leadership from Walking on the Glass Floor, and quite honestly it was not only easy, but it was also important to do. Sales is not just about transactions, it’s about leadership that builds relationships. When you look at the two, leadership and sales are two sides of the same coin, and quite honestly, leadership and sales go hand in hand – one without the other is incomplete.

Meet Judy Hoberman

Judy Hoberman is President of Judy Hoberman and Associates, a company focused on empowering professional women. She is an international speaker, trainer, executive coach, author, radio show host and mentor. Her 30 years in business has given her both knowledge and a sense of humor about how men and women lead, sell, manage and recruit differently.  She will enlighten you and help you learn how both genders can support each other’s successes in a more productive way. Her experience in sales and leadership has helped her clients realize the importance of building relationships, standing out and being the authority in their market.

Judy is a phenomenal woman and powerhouse speaker. She was our Keynote at our most recent American College of Healthcare Executives Women’s Health Executive Network (ACHENTX WHEN) Women’s Annual Conference, and she spoke to us on the importance of what it takes to be a good leader and coach. When you become a good leader, it is always good to coach others and help them along the way. That is what Judy does. She empowers women by leading and coaching them to be more successful, confident, and self-aware...

Judy Hoberman spoke to the MPI D/FW Chapter members and guests in our September 2019 chapter luncheon. “Selling in a S.K.I.R.T.” keynote delivered actionable take-away items in a structured, easy to understand way. What I did not expect is the personal impact that Judy’s presentation had on me. Judy challenged the attendees with “What do you still want to accomplish?” That powerful question kept showing up on my social media accounts as other attendees were equally challenged by it. As Judy stated in her presentation: “The best way to predict the future is to create it” – a statement that continues to drive me well to the future. I truly look forward to hearing her speak again.

Judy is simply amazing. The coaching she provided my team allowed me the freedom to do all of the things I love to do. Our company continues to grow year after year because some of the building blocks she put in place years ago. She's a true "workplace whisperer" and I can't imagine what my company would have done without her!

Vibrant, positive and entirely a straight shooter. If you find yourself so lucky to be in the wings of Judy Hoberman, you will quickly discover the relentless guide, mentor, friend, and leader she is when she calls you her people. Judy protects her network but is swiftly willing to make solid connections that she knows are right and mutually beneficial. I am grateful to work with Judy, to have her as a mentor, and to call her my friend. No elite athlete works their sport on their own. Choosing the right person to be in your corner makes all the difference.

Women lead multidimensional lives, so it should not be surprising that their various leadership roles have many dimensions. Just as Stephen R. Covey’s The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People provided a principle-centered approach to problem-solving, Walking on the Glass Floor presents the seven essential qualities that can successfully guide women through the ups and downs of their many leadership roles–in the workplace, in the community, and in the home.

“When I first met Judy, she was our keynote speaker at our Ambitious Women’s Conference.  Her insight into the differences in working with men and  women was eye opening and yet the message had an underlying theme…being an entrepreneur.  We invited her back again and this time she spoke about being in your own business and in one hour Judy captivated her audience with humor and knowledge from her personal experiences of starting a business and staying in business.  Her book, which is a guide to earning a living as an entrepreneur will surely to do the same!”
