You are All Amazing Women

The following is a guest post by Tilde Guajardo, Founder and Chief Visionary Officer for Womanars.com.

I’d like to start by thanking Judy for the opportunity to share this space with incredible women.

I first agreed to blog for Judy, not knowing what to expect, so it was a complete surprise as to the title and topic I would be sharing with others.  I’m humbled to be in such great company.

My name is Tilde Guajardo, I am the Founder and Chief Visionary Officer for Womanars.com.  We are an online media company producing our own videos and aggregating videos from around the world. Our mission is to celebrate The Power of Women through fun, interactive, and engaging videos. We launched the website a month and a half ago!

The irony to all this is I don’t have much web experience, nor do I have media experience, but what I do have is belief, determination and love for what I’m doing.  It has transcended into meetings I’ve had with others, both men and women, who believe in my vision and have played a big role in helping me bring it to life.  They are some of the most brilliant and talented business women who have helped build the website, and given me invaluable business advice.

The biggest lesson for me has been to simply ask for advice or help when I need it.  I’m a Type A personality so it doesn’t come naturally.  It has taught me more humility, has opened my eyes to how much women are willing to help each other, and how much faster you can get things done! My biggest advice to you is follow your dreams and make them a reality! There is nothing more rewarding then seeing it come to life before your very eyes.

Believe in yourself and surround yourself with people who believe in you and anything is possible.  For the future, I envision Womanarsbeing an inspiring, empowering, and educational portal for women around the world.  A “virtual gathering” of women to share our inspiring stories, our creativity and talents, how we’re experiencing fun and adventure, and how we are giving back to the communities around us.
